Free Comic Book Day Is Here!
It's that time of year again, every year on the first Saturday of May comic shops and geeks alike celebrate a time honored tradition of free comic books. Call it a holiday, call it an out reach program, whatever you call it today is the day to visit a comic book shop.
Year after year Free Comic Book Day brings new customers to shops all around the globe and introduces people to the cutting edge of fiction we know as comic books. Shops take advantage of this day by offering big sales, signings, cosplay and more to a crowd who may have never set foot in a comic shop before. And our shop is no exception...
This Saturday May 5th from noon until 8 PM The Freakopolis Geekery (120 Main St. Whitehall, NY) will be offering free comic books to one and all, we'll also be holding big sales for one day only (details below). The observant attendee might even catch a glimpse of one of Marvel's greatest Thor, God of Thunder.
