"Tainted Love" tells the story of John Constantine's descent into homelessness and alcoholism after Kit has left him. Ennis throughout shows his talent as a writer of well-rounded characters, the superb issue "Heartland" certainly forming the apogee of his skill, when showing Kit's life in Belfast and the reunion with her old friends.
